certifications

SGCC (Safety Glazing Certification Council) certification is awarded to safety glazing materials that have undergone rigorous testing to meet safety standards set by organizations such as ANSI and DOT. To obtain SGCC certification, samples must be submitted to approved testing laboratories. If the material passes all the required tests, manufacturers receive certification, demonstrating their commitment to providing safe, high-quality products.

MGNA complies with all ASTM C1036 standards for flat glass in glass manufacturing.

What We Offer

Our state-of-the-art technology encompasses the following processes

  • The glass is heated to 620 degrees Celsius and then rapidly cooled by forced air to internally strengthen it, thereby putting the outer surfaces into compression and interior into tension. Meeting ASTM standards this form of Safety Glass when broken will shatter into small granular pieces rather than splintering into jagged shards.

  • Incorporating both the latest Horizontal and Vertical polishing machinery where flat polished edges, chamfered edges and mitered edges can be achieved.

  • Cutting and machining cut outs, holes, notches, etc. to exacting tolerances.

  • Completed orders can be shipped with Hard wood crates or Metal Racks specifically designed to maximise space in trailers and provide maximum protection to the finished products.
